Eco-Style card

Hello friends,
Happy weekend!! I am participating in Fabrika Decoru joint project  "Layered - its easy".I always love making layered projects, but in recent times i become really obsessed with layers, love combining different materials to create layered composition and sometimes i find hard to stop myself, lol. So i thought of giving this a try..The competition is going to take place in five stages for five weeks. My first ever participation in this kind of event,so looking forward to make some exciting stuff.

First stage is "Paper - our loyal assistant",to make any kind of project with at-least 7 paper layers.

Here is my Eco-style card ,made with recycled materials and lots of greens. I used beautiful cut out sheets of "Botany summer" from Fabrika decoru. The base wood texture papers are from kaisercraft.I have used different kind of papers like book print, vellum, tissue paper, pattern paper n cardstock for my composition.I also used some recycled packing nets and gauze cloth for added texture.

Guest designing for Maja designs

Hello friends,
I am guest designing over at "Maja designs" for this month.,yay!! I still remember the day i came across maja design blog(2-3 years back) and i was really mesmerized by their beautiful papers. So its a great honor and dream come true moment for me.
I made two layouts for my guest post,my first layout is more of clean layers with lots of fussy cut elements from the papers.I really loved this color from the "Summer time" paper pack, its really very rare to find red color pattern papers but this pack have some gorgeous papers in shades of red.

My second layout is with messy mixed media  background and lots of layers and textures with different elements.I have used papers from "By the sea" collection.

Hope you liked my projects with "Maja design" papers, they are so gorgeous and a delight to work with. You can find more details about my projects at "Maja design blog"

Graphic layout

Hello everyone!!
today is my first post for Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo,and i am so excited to join the amazing design team from around the world. Its one of my favorite mixed media challenge blog, the theme and the projects they share every month is absolutely inspiring and i am delighted to be  a part of it now.If you love mixed media you definitely have to check it out,the blog is sponsored by 7dots studios(one of my favorite company) and you can win a whole new collection kit from the april release.

The theme for April challenge is "Doodled hearts",you still have lots of time to join in.I  tried something new,a graphic style layout .As you can see its totally different from what i usually do,but i loved how the background turned out,so kept the layout fairly simple. The layout is about coffee love, who doesn't love coffee?even though i am not a addict my day definitely starts only after a cup of coffee, and even after replacing my evening cup of coffee with green tea a year back, still coffee will remain my first love always.I have used 7 dots studios -Lost and found  papers and stickers.

Nautical canvas for Colourarte

Hello everyone,
today i am sharing a "Nautical theme canvas" over at "Colourarte" blog, check out my post for more details and a  step by step tutorial. My canvas is inspired by march mood board over at "Mixed media & art",as you know i love making sea theme projects,so this mood board really caught my eyes and couldn't let it go,so i finally managed to make this in the last moment.
Probably this is one of the piece which took long time for the painting part(almost a day),after painting and repainting and using almost 10 shades of blues i finally got the desired color tones. Its quiet tricky to work with single color,
But no complaints,i love how it  turned out, especially the textures.Due to many layers of paints some fine textures got covered, sob sob*

Hope you enjoyed the post for today, dont forget to check out "Colourarte blog" for more details.
