Whimsical watercolor Layout

Hello everyone,
today i am sharing a watercolor layout i made for "2crafty chipboard".My inspiration for this layout is the beautiful pattern paper from "13 arts",i just wanted to extend the colors and pattern of the paper and 2crafty chipboard helped me to do that beautifully. I used  lindy's sprays to create my water color background and to color my chippies.I loved the whimsical look the chippies and colors gave,so i kept the layout simple without adding much layers or flowers. To finish off i added some "Dress my craft" sequins and butterflies.

Altenew May 2017 Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello everyone!!

i am super excited and happy to be joining the "Altenew May release blog hop". Its a absolute honor to be a part of my most favorite and one of the best stamp companies new release.

You must have come from TaeEun yoo's blog,if not you can check the complete blog hop list on Altenew blog.

This release is fabulous as ever which includes stamps, dies and embossing powders.I have made four cards in total using them,so lets go straight to the post.

Enchanted iris

I stamped the "Enchanted iris" flowers  with black archival ink, water colored them using zig markers and added a bit of shadow around the flowers with a grey marker.I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set on a black cardstock using versamark and heat embossed with Golden peach embossing powder.I finished of the card with some faux stitching, sequins, enamel dots and twine.

Halftone everything + Layered plaid cover die A

I kept this card quiet simple to show the beauty of the Plaid cover die A,i just created the background with color burst Ultramarine blue and violet, diecut the panel with white cardstock and layered it on top.I heat embossed the word everything from the Halftone everything stamp set(which has some really great sentiments) on a black cardstock, heat embossed using Golden peach embossing powder and die cut it using the coordinating die set.The size of the word is big enough to use as focal point,i completed the sentiment using "you do rock" which is stamped on a white diecut flag.

Best buds

I arranged the stem, buds and leaves from the Best buds stamp set on the card panel using misti and stamped them using archival black ink.Watercolored them using zig markers and finished it off with a sentiment from same stamp set. This set is great for friendship theme cards which feature some beautiful sentiments.I added a washi tape strip on the side of the card panel to add some contrast.

Enchanted iris + Halftone everything die set

For this card i stamped and colored the flowers from Enchanted iris stamp set on a separate cardstock, fussy cut them and mounted onto the card panel. The Halftone everything die set has two dies, one of them coordinates with the stamp set whereas the other one is a stand alone die.I die cut the word with black cardstock and stamped the word "Happy" form the Halftone everything stamp set.Finished off the card with glitter washi tape and enamel dots.

My happy place - Layout

Hello friends,

I have a happy news to share, there is a new Indian craft brand on the block "Dress my craft",which have some cool products now,and lots more are lined up to be introduced in the coming days,so keep watching.I am so happy to be a part of the first ever design team.

I made a mixed media layout with DMC sequins, they come in huge variety of colors and shapes which is super sparkly, you can check out the whole range HERE.I also made this layout for "Fabrika decoru - Layered its easy" stage 5 which is to use paints and create layers.
I used a black cardstock as my base and created the background using metallic paints and stencils.I used different stencils to layer each color, used finnabair sparks paint, colourarte radiant gel paint and inka gold for each layer respectively and to create the splashes.
The fabulous 2crafty chipboard designs are heat embossed with Lindys embossing powders. Finally finished off the layout with lots of metallic threads and DMC sequins

Layered its easy :Stage 4 - Flowers

Hello everyone,
today i have a very soft and delicate card to share.Stage four of "Layered its easy" is to use flowers, not very difficult huh.Instead of adding lots of  dimensional flowers,i went for different materials,i added stamped, fussy cut,die cut, paper, lace and fabric flowers.Recently i came across a new brand:Bee shabby,a Russian company which makes most shabbilicious papers and coordinating embellishments. The papers are very soft and pretty,if you are a shabby chic lover you are in for a treat.I have used "Happiness collection" for my card.

This week was quiet stressful, couple of projects dint turn out as expected, this indicates that i need a break now but i dont see any in near future, but yeah  i have some exciting things coming up which i was working early this month,i really cant wait to share:).Hope next week turns out good, have a peaceful sunday.
See ya.

Book pages : Scrapki-wyzwaniowo challenge

Hello everyone,
we have a  new challenge over at "Scrapki-wyzwaniowo".This month theme is "Book pages".I made a Free style card with mixed media touches.I usually never stick down anything until i finalize it to the last detail, but for this card i just started gluing down layers of papers and kept adding details randomly. For the coloring part i used acrylic paints so that i dont need to worry about spoiling the papers.I have used 7 dots studio "Home grown" paper collection, just love the  pink/black /grey combo in this.Hope you will join us,you have time till end of the month and you can win some amazing 7dots  studios collection.

I really love how it turned out,it doesn't  happen often,i dont get convinced easily and try all the possible option with my composition before gluing down anything,so its like a miracle;),hope you like it too.
See ya all soon.
